Events
Create, discover, and join community rides with tracks, checkpoints, and optional pricing.
Events on Randuro are community‑first meetups — from mellow rides to big days out. An event bundles a date/time, meeting point, and optional extras like GPX tracks, checkpoints, and a website for official details. You choose whether an event is public (visible to everyone) or private (visible only to you). If a participant’s profile is private, they’re counted but not listed by name.
Viewing an event
Open an event to see the title, timing, and meeting point. A cover image fills the header if provided; a website link sits nearby. Tracks show as a grid with elevation previews, and the map displays all tracks plus checkpoints. Pricing, when present, is informational and sits next to a Website button for external registration. At the bottom, participants show public profiles and a total that includes everyone.
Create an event
From the Events page, click Create Event. Add a name, short description, start/end time, visibility, and meeting point. Dates store exactly as entered (no timezone conversion). Add a cover image if you want. Tracks (GPX), checkpoints, pricing, and a website link are optional and can be added now or later—save anytime and return to edit.
Manage your event
As the creator, you’ll see a compact edit bar on the event page. Use it to update details, change visibility, adjust the meeting point, and replace the cover image. Add or remove tracks, checkpoints, price options, or attach a website for registration. Private events stay visible only to you and won’t surface for others.
Participation
When signed in, the Participate button lets you join or leave in one tap. Public events are open to everyone; private events are creator‑only. Participants with private profiles stay hidden by name but count toward totals. Randuro doesn’t collect payments—listed prices are informational, and the Website link (when present) takes you to the organizer’s page.
