Events
Create, discover, and join community rides with tracks, checkpoints, and optional pricing.
Events on Randuro are simple, community‑first meetups — from mellow rides to big days out. An event brings together a date and time, a meeting point, and optional extras like GPX tracks, checkpoints, and a website for official details. Privacy still leads the way: you choose whether an event is public (visible to everyone) or private (visible only to you). If a participant’s profile is private, they’re counted but not listed by name.
Viewing an event
Open an event to see a clean header with the title, timing, and meeting point. If there’s a cover image, it fills the header; if there’s a website, you’ll find a direct link. Tracks appear as a tidy grid with elevation previews, and the map shows all tracks together with any checkpoints. Pricing — when provided — is informational only and sits next to a Website button for external registration. At the bottom, the participant section shows who’s in (public profiles only) and a total count that includes everyone.
Create an event
From the Events page, click Create Event. Give your event a name and short description, set the start and end time, choose whether it’s public or private, and add a precise meeting point. Dates are stored exactly as you enter them, without timezone conversion. You can add a cover image if you like. Tracks (GPX), checkpoints, pricing, and a website link are optional and can be added now or later — save at any time and come back to edit.
Manage your event
As the creator, you’ll see a compact edit bar on the event page. Use it to update details, change visibility, adjust the meeting point, and replace the cover image. You can also add or remove tracks, checkpoints, and price options, or attach a website for official registration. Private events stay visible only to you and won’t surface for others.
Participation
When you’re signed in, the Participate button lets you join or leave in one tap. Public events are open to everyone; private events are creator‑only. Participants with private profiles are hidden by name while included in the total. Randuro doesn’t collect payments — if a price is listed, it’s for information, and the Website link (when present) takes you to the organizer’s page.
