Frequently asked questions

Have a different question and can’t find the answer you’re looking for? Reach out to our support team by sending us an email and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

What is Randuro?

Randuro is a privacy‑first platform for mountain bikers. Track your rides, explore community activity, and join events. “Base Camp” is your home page with quick stats, shortcuts, and AI chat (beta) — start there after sign‑in.

How do I sign in?

Use a magic link — no passwords. Go to Sign In, enter your email, and click the link we send. If the email doesn’t arrive, check spam/promotions and request a new link. You can review and revoke active sessions in Settings → Sessions.

Is Randuro free to use?

Yes. The Free Rider plan includes uploading GPX/FIT files, auto‑import from Garmin, basic maps, simple ride stats, and community events. A paid plan with advanced features is planned.

What file formats can I upload?

GPX (universal) and FIT (Garmin with rich metrics). GPX is the universal format for routes and tracks — it works almost everywhere but usually contains fewer sensor details. FIT is Garmin’s native format and typically includes richer metrics like heart rate, power, and device information. Randuro accepts both; if you have a choice, FIT preserves more data.

Which devices are supported?

Any device or app that exports GPX or FIT: Garmin devices, Wahoo computers, smartphone GPS apps, and more.

Who can see my rides?

Your profile is private by default. You choose per‑ride visibility (public or private) and can change it anytime.

Can I edit my ride data?

Yes — title, description, privacy, location, notes, and photos.

Why might my ride distance differ?

Different platforms calculate distance differently. Randuro computes distance from your GPS track for accuracy. If a ride looks off, please reach out via Support.

My Garmin rides aren’t syncing — what should I do?

Reconnect in Settings → Integrations, verify recent activities in Garmin Connect, and try again. See the Integrations guide for details.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use magic‑link authentication (no passwords to leak), per‑ride privacy controls, and secure storage. Learn more in our Privacy Policy.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. You can delete individual rides or your entire account from Settings.

How do I contact support or send feedback?

Use the Support page for help, and the Feedback page to share ideas or report issues.
